We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as we are not required to under Article 37 GDPR.

What we collect, and why

Contact form

When you use the contact form we process the name, email address and message you provide, plus whether you ticked the marketing consent box. We use this solely to respond to your enquiry.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract) and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries).
Marketing communications are sent only if you actively consent — Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw that consent at any time, with effect for the future, by emailing us.
Retention: enquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle them and for a reasonable follow-up period, then deleted.

Submissions are stored on our own server infrastructure inside the European Union. We also record the submitting IP address for a short period, purely to rate-limit abuse of the form.

Server log files

Our hosting providers automatically record technical data — IP address, timestamp, requested URL, referrer and user agent — which is necessary to deliver the website and to detect and defend against attacks. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no advertising cookies. With your consent only, we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) to understand which pages visitors use and how often the contact form is sent. Google Analytics is not loaded at all until you click “Accept” in the cookie banner. It then sets cookies (_ga, _ga_*) that store a pseudonymous identifier for up to two years; IP addresses are shortened, and advertising features are switched off. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA, which is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Legal basis: your consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw it at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer; the analytics cookies are then deleted.

Your choice itself is stored in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie. Apart from that, the only cookie we may set is a strictly necessary session cookie, and only for administrators logging in to our own content management system.

Web fonts are self-hosted, so no font provider receives your IP address.

Hosting and processors

The website is delivered by Vercel Inc. and our application backend runs on servers operated by Hetzner Online GmbH in the EU. Both act as processors on our behalf under Article 28 GDPR. Where a processor transfers data outside the EU, that transfer is covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

access the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15)
have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16)
have your data erased (Art. 17)
restrict processing (Art. 18)
receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20)
object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21)
withdraw consent at any time (Art. 7(3))

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Hungary this is the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (NAIH), naih.hu.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the website changes. The version published here is always the one that applies.
